BENNY is available for adoption…He is 8 months and weighs 9 pounds. He was born in a puppy mill, but luckily he is only eight months old, so it has less effect on him. His foster siblings are teaching him how to be a regular dog and he is loving every minute of it. Benny’s new home must have another dog (or many dogs, big or small!) in it for him to play with and he needs a fenced-in yard. His true Yorkie nature kicks in when he see a cat so a home with no kitties is best. He is located in East Berlin, PA. and his adoption fee is $600. Theo came to us because his owner thought he was not happy in a city environment. He was anxious and didn't like all the noise, and especially didn't like strangers getting in his face to pet him. He has made great strides in his foster home, and has proven very receptive to training. In just the first few days he learned sit, paw, jump, down, and can "play" his toy piano and walk on the treadmill. Theo needs to go to an experienced owner who will continue with his training, and will help him continue to get over his fear of strangers. His foster mom says that he is going to be a fun and adventurous companion. Theo is fostered in Felton, PA and his adoption fee is $550. Meet Eliza! This precious soul has spent the nine years of her life in a cage with no positive human interaction, cranking out puppies at a puppymill. Now that she has her freedom, watching her learn to become a dog is like watching a beautiful flower bloom. ??
Eliza is learning from her pack. At first, she didn't know how to sleep on anything but the bare floor. Then came a towel, a fluffy blanket, a flat bad and now, she can be found curled up in a big snuggle ball. She would watch the other dogs go up the ramp to the bed and arch her neck to see them on the big human bed. But fear would get the best of her and when put in bed, she would jump down. Now, she goes up and down the ramp to sleep in bed with everyone else. She needs other dogs in her forever home, even if they are big ones, that's OK- she loves all dogs and is as gentle as can be. Since walking on a leash hasn't been tackled yet, a fenced in yard is best for Liza. If you want to rescue a dog and feel the warmth in your heart as she blossoms, then Eliza is the girl for you ??
She is spayed, up-to-date on her vaccinations, has had blood work and a dental. She is ready to start a new life in her new home.
